Meet Mary Garcia-Kumirov, MD
Mary Garcia-Kumirov is a board-certified family physician dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages.
Originally from Yuma, Arizona, Dr. Garcia-Kumirov moved to Tucson after high school to pursue her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology in 2010. She then relocated to Columbus, Ohio, to attend The Ohio State University College of Medicine, earning her medical degree in 2015.
Following medical school, Dr. Garcia-Kumirov returned to Tucson to complete her family medicine residency at Banner University Medical Center. After residency, she practiced at Mariposa Community Health Center in Nogales, Arizona, where she spent seven years caring for the community and building meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues.
Dr. Garcia-Kumirov is excited to join Access Primary Care in Sahuarita, Arizona—a community she has proudly called home for the past seven years. She looks forward to deepening her connection with the community and providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, women’s health, and in-office procedures.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Garcia-Kumirov enjoys spending time with her husband, son, extended family, and caring for their three beloved pets.
